Happy Independence Day

They head towards the doors they entered,
Leaving the rest, they were self centered.

Walked through puddles of blood,
Looted the funds of even the funds.

Weapons circulated like milk and honey,
For them everything seemed funny.

Gowns were made of Human Skin,
Boots were sewn of inflation.

Justice was a show piece,
Law and Order was deceased.

Bills were passed and ratified,
Unfortunately nothing was applied.

Command and control was in one hand,
Everyone danced on this land.

Broken lives and dead bodies lay,
They all will follow you one day.

Fear of death embraced them,
Security guards caressed them.

Democracy was the slogan since 65years,
Dear public enjoy it, no more tears.

These 5 years were a horrific sight,
HAPPY INDEPENDENCE DAY
Till elections have a safe flight.....

Struggling to Survive

Pains and cries,
Are two sides,
Of the same coin.
Deep rooted are they,
Emotions and logics do not join.

Ancient norms and cultures,
Religions and traditions,
Form to make up,
This global structure.

Harsh were the spoken words,
Timid the beating hearts,
Once they clashed,
Drawn were the swords,
Civilizations drew apart.

Wandered on lands and seas,
Ruled from cores to trees,
The game of gains and loss,
Has no end to greed and fame,
Never would it set us free.

Humanity still struggles to breath,
Justice still longs to break the chains of creed,
Love still, is no more an antidote,
Peace still is soaked in blood on the streets!
