Internal and External Life

In the darkest hours of the night,
Everything beyond my window sleeps,
Within the four walls of my room,
Everything silently weeps.

Even thou various hues decorate my room,
Everything is quite nothing to bloom,
A life exists too on the other side,
Along with joys there is some gloom.

There are times when I talk to my room mate,
But all are stuffed with cotton and wool,
Mother Nature is so kind to all out there,
Conveys God's message to every ungrateful fool.

As I stand by the window,
To breath some fresh air,
I then turn around to look at my room,
And conclude in life their is nothing fair...
